Cement Based Water Proofing

Monneli Kretesil

KRETESIL is a ready-mix, cementitious, and surface applied, waterproofing membrane consisting of Sulphate resistant cement, graded quartz, and inorganic additives. KRETESIL has been tested to a pressure of 1.5 bar.
The initial and final bonding capability of KRETESIL is excellent, making it suitable for application to both vertical and horizontal surfaces on concrete, block work, cement plaster…etc. It is durable, resistant to frost and heat after setting and remains permeable to water vapor.

  • Used for internal and external applications
  • Used to waterproof against positive and negative pressure approved for potable water contact
  • Based on Sulphate resisting cement making it suitable for use in sewerage processing tanks
  • Excellent bonding to masonry, brick, stone and concrete surface, where crystal growth treatments are not effective
  • KRETESIL is excellent for solving the problem of water seepage and condensation through concrete and masonry in both new and old structures. 
  • It is ideal in applications where high pressure face is not easily accessible and for waterproofing the inside face of vertical and horizontal surfaces such as :

Monneli Mantobrush

Monneli Idrolastic

IDROLASTIC is a two component mortar composed of special type of cements, bonding agents, selected fillers and special additives (component A) and water based synthetic acrylic co-polymer (component B). When mixing the two components together a workable paste is obtained that can be applied either horizontally or vertically which adheres to concrete and masonry supports. Once hardened, it forms a waterproofing and flexible layer resistant against aggression of Chlorides and Sulphates.

  • For external and internal applications on both old and new surfaces
  • Resistant against harsh environment
  • Polymer modified, therefore reduces permeability and improves adhesion and mechanical strength
  • Easy to use, which reduces labor cost
  • Flexible and can accommodate fine cracks
  • Breathable coating which allows the substrate to breathe. 
  • IDROLASTIC can be applied on concrete, brick, ceramic, marble, etc. It is used for:

Monneli Acrilux

ACRILUX is a water based acrylic liquid membrane. It is easily applicable on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Once cured it forms a continuous waterproofing membrane resistant against the thermal changes and the ultraviolet rays

  • UV and Weathering Resistant

Monneli Mantoflex

Mantoflex is a product composed of water based synthetic polymers. It is a thixotropic paste, easily applicable on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Once dried, it forms an elastic, continuous, waterproofing membrane that is resistant to thermal changes, UV rays, and diluted acid solutions.

  • Single component water based. Ready for use direct from container
  • Elastomeric, high crack bridging capability
  • Easy water clean-up UV and weathering resistant
  • Can be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces
  • Can be applied to wide range of substrates
  • Good resistance to Chloride & Carbon dioxide Diffusion.

MANTOFLEX adheres perfectly to a variety of supports as, concrete, asbestos, cement, gypsum and cement boards, wood, metallic surfaces, etc. It can be used as a waterproofing and flexible protective layer for the following :

  • Ceramic coverings in showers and bathrooms.
  • As protective coating for polyurethane sprayed foam against UV effect.

Monneli Elastothane TR

A liquid applied, pitch modified, single-component moisture-cured polyurethane coating, designed to form a seamless, elastomeric rubber waterproofing membrane. When fully cured ELASTOTHANE TR forms a permanently flexible waterproof lining to most building surfaces including reinforced concrete, block works, brick works, cement render, plaster board and fibre-reinforced cement

ELASTOTHANE 100 is a single component, liquid applied, elastomeric, aliphatic polyurethane based waterproofing coating. It cures with moisture in the atmosphere to produce a highly elastic UV stable seamless membrane with strong adhesion to many types of substrates.

Monneli Asfabit

ASFABIT is a cold applied water based bitumen with special additives. It is a blend of selected bitumen emulsified with water to give an easily applied protective coating. Once cured, ASFABIT forms a seamless film with great adhesion to the substrate.

Monneli Asfabit RBL

A cold applied rubberized bitumen emulsion in dark brown color that, when dries, it forms tough black seamless and fl exible coating.

  • Easily applied by brush or squeegee.
  • Excellent resistant to alkalis, mild acids, chlorine
  • Compatible with all bituminous products

ASFABIT RBL can be used as follows : 

  • Provides a sandwich membrane between screed flooring
  • A waterproofing coat for concrete foundations, bricks, retaining walls, etc
  • It can be used to waterproof walls and floors in wet areas
  • For maintenance of many types of roofs including built up felt, aluminum, concrete, lightweight screed, timber, slate, asbestos, bitumen sheets, etc
  • As a vapour/salt barrier for exterior walls to building facades behind granite, marble, stone, cladding, curtain walls, etc
  • Can be used as adhesive for insulation boards and expanded polystyrene
